This page includes information about accessibility, an 'about HCP-disability' section and contact details. If you find any errors please email David Wright.
HCP-disability is committed to making information accessible by providing an accessible website.
The HCP-disability web site is continuing to develop and change to ensure accessibility. David Wright who owns, edits and is the webmaster is still learning the skills for web building, so changes will occur with skill development.
The site is tested, using The World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) online testing facilities. HCP-disability is working to make all pages HTML 4.01 Transitional and CSS validated.
Some pages may need some editing to meet this requirement at this time (30 June 2004), but all will do so in the near future.
If you have any comments regarding accessibility of HCP-disability website, or have encountered any specific difficulties in accessing the site, please send them to: David Wright.
HCP-disability arose out of the personal interest and professional work of David Wright who has been involved in supporting nursing students with dyslexia and working towards Deaf Peoples' access to the nursing profession.
The site brings together a range of sources including; published journal articles, books and book chapters, web based information services, contacts, an email discussion group and a newsletter (amongst others).
The service is free to access, and will be maintained as long as possible. Contributions are always welcome. It is hoped that the future of HCP-disability will be taken over by an editorial and development group.
