7 September 2004: Added SKILL 2005 Into Nursing and Midwifery.
20 October 2004: Added supporting students on clinical placements to the main contents list.
19 October 2004: Added new section on placements for students with disability - accessible from either supporting healthcare professionals with dyslexia and healthcare professionals with disabilities.
WWW links: added Forum for OTs with disabilities
01 September 2004: Added a number of individuals to the profiles of disabled healthcare professionals.
Added: Hartman D. Asbell B. 1979 White Coat, White Cane: The Extraordinary Odyssey of a Blind Physician
11 August 2004: Removed old version of HCP-disability. New version has different URL. Provided automatic redirect from old pages.
Added another project to the projects and research section: Improving provision for pharmacy students with disabilities.
Added a web counter to the site. See the footer. This will allow monitoring of the site [no personal information is obtained from this] for future analysis.
25 June 2004: Rebuilt the web site.
Cascading Style Sheets allows fonts, graphics and other elements of a page to be controlled from either the authors web page or the users preferences.
14 and 15 June 2004: Reset contents at the bottom and top of pages so that they are 'accessible' (let me know if there are problems).
Recoded the pages so that they are better structured for accessibility.
19 May 2004: Started developing the use of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). This avoids the use of internal page coding, making it easier for screen readers, and user accessibility.
14 May 2004: Improving Provision for Disabled Psychology Students added to the projects and research section.
4 May 2004: Added a number of references to the Healthcare professionals with disabilities section.
Updated a number of links between pages.
25 March 2004:
A number of additions have been added to World Wide Web Links.
The Healthcare professionals with disabilities page has been up-dated.
A number of other (broken) links have been repaired.
The contents sections are now included as components to enable easier site editing.
